Party Time

We had a Christmas Boat Parade in Tuscaloosa a few weeks ago. All of the people with boats decorate them to the max and line up down the Black Warrior River. Everyone who doesn't have a boat lines up along the River Walk with their kids and watch the parade, which is followed by fireworks - normally. This year fireworks went first due to rain. Unfortunately I didn't get there in time.

DH judged this one year. Usually it's freezing cold and this year was actually pretty warm. It was the year that my husband was one of the judges that was ridiculously cold! I mean in the teens! That's extremely cold for the South! I don't think we'll see that kind of weather this Christmas - last I checked, the high on Tuesday was predicted to be 55.
