Dicken #2

Posted by Stephanie (Tuscaloosa, United States) on 8 December 2007 in People & Portrait and Portfolio.

I had this great post and the stupid computer timed out and I can't remember everything that I said.

I processed this photo the other night and I really hated it. It's been awhile since I've done any real night photography that needed people so I was mad about my flash, mad that I didn't have my monopod (DH is afraid that I'll accidentally hit an old lady or something) and I was mad cause I was cold and therefore it was harder to stop any vibration. I overall hated the outcome of most of these photos. I wanted to go grab all of the Northport residents and say, "I'm available this date, let's do Dicken's twice this year!" But I can't do that and I can only learn from my mistakes...C'est la vie!

After taking a few days away from the photos I took, I started working on some other photos I need to finish processing and decided to take a quick look of the Dicken's file and see which one I would post today. Seeing as I hadn't posted in a few days, I thought I'd atleast attempt to keep the same theme going! I apologize for that. At any rate, I saw this finished photo and I really like it! Funny what a little time off can do for you!

Speaking of time off, I'm actually home from work today (Holy Crap!) - which is really rare. The crud has been going around the dealership, I was passed a touch of it - I guess they didn't want me to pass it around to anyone else! Yippee!! I'll be working on some stuff I really need to finish and I'll also be going to a holiday party for work today (the real reason I'm off today - eventhough I did volunteer to work before and after the party!) so I'll be getting some more pictures for everybody to see! Yay!

Cheer with me now, "Yay! More pictures!"
