Went to the Dicken's Christmas in Northport, Alabama last night. It was so cold but we had a blast. Downtown Northport is old and is the perfect setting for shop owners to dress up as their favorite Dicken's character. A lot of the shop owners are artists or carry home decor, so everything was decorated it's finest and people were everywhere.
It's so neat to live in a town that has so much fun as a community. It's refreshing after living in Birmingham all my life - where get togethers are at funerals or emergency scenes. Now, there are the occassional art show and yearly music festival. But Tuscaloosa is a lot more fun!
I grabbed as many pictures as I could but I'm not very happy with them. I'll share them over the next couple of days. I also have some new sittings to share as well.
Enjoy!
