Thanksgiving DayPosted by Stephanie (Tuscaloosa, United States) on 22 November 2007 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. In Alabama, Thanksgiving Day is usually one of the first cool days of the Fall and Winter seasons. It's terrible since I hate cold weather. However, driving to my husband's family's for our Thanksgiving dinner today, I saw so much beauty in some of the rural areas of Alabama. I was so glad I brought my camera (when don't I??!). This is the actual country road where my mother-in-law was raised. Could you believe seeing this scene everyday, in all of God's beauty? Seeing how God's finger can paint such a beautiful picture reminded me of how grateful I should be for the blessings in my life. That simple reminder made the dinner that much better. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day!
