I shouldn't really post this; I'm just playing around and haven't posted in a few days. On aminus3's home page today, there is a link to picnik, where you can edit your photos online. It's pretty fun. It doesn't have near the functionality of Photoshop but if you're in bind, this a great way for a quick fix!
Bottom line: This is an image I shot with my Canon EOS Elan 7e. I had AWFUL light and I was in a storm shelter. I absolutely hated how this turned out! The film grain had a line running down the side of it, when I put it in Photoshop the grain only got worse (as you can see), it is kind of a cold, empty image; I can go on and on about what's wrong with this image and I bet you can to! :)
So from absolutely terrible to something that isn't as bad, I don't guess free online image editing software is so bad!

I actually kind of like the graininess and lines through it. It makes the image that much starker. Don't be so critical. Thanks for sharing, I'm going to have to check it out.

@Shanl: Thanks! It's a pretty nifty site if you need a quick fix!
Really nice outcome. It would be interesting to see the original shot
